Hi, IVM Construction in New Town, ND is looking for a Truck Dispatcher to dispatch its fleet of gravel trucks. We are a midsize oilfield services company. Two years of experience is required.
Position Overview:
The dispatcher's job is to schedule drivers to pick up or deliver loads to customers or vendors. Responsibilities will include schedule of shipments and notify customers of arrival schedules, dealing with customers, coordinating trucks for daily deliveries, pickups and activities, maintain dispatch spreadsheets and dispatch systems.
Responsibilities:
Experienced in transportation functions
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to maintain files
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
Attention to details of dispatch
Generate work schedules and hours of duty
Support and communicate well with employees and customers
Make timely and appropriate decisions
Answer phones
Requirements
Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Knowledge of DOT compliance
Oil and gas field experience desired
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
Computer literate
